North Dakota New Jobs Training Program
The North Dakota New Jobs Training Program provides new or expanding primary sector companies in North Dakota with no-cost funding to help offset new employee training costs.
The program provides for the capture of the personal income taxes collected by the State of North Dakota from the company's employees, and distributes those funds back to the company on a quarterly basis over a 10-year period. The actual amount of funds available under the program will vary depending on the number of people hired and their actual wage rate.
As new employees are hired in subsequent years, the contract is modified to include new hires for the expansion.
